There is much conversation these days about whether or not soy and soy products are good for you. Besides allergies, I believe the overuse of soy and soy products is the real issue. What people may not realize is that soy is used in many of the products we consume daily. So while we may choose to not use soy directly, we are actually getting a fair amount in other products that we eat. As the old adage goes “too much of anything is good for nothing”. In simple terms, everything in moderation. Natural Soy Milk is a good “go to” milk alternative. Soy is a great source of protein, omega 3 fatty acids and B vitamins. However, with recent reports of brands that use GMO sources or less savory methods to prepare this wholesome body nourishing beverage, it doesn’t hurt to start making this right from the convenience of your home. If you are a vegan and miss dairy or you simply want the health benefits of soy take a crack at it and enjoy! However, as with anything, drink in moderation to stay healthy.

Yet, how we navigate through the ebbs and flow, the potholes and highways, the valley and mountain experiences is an important determination of our overall well being. By embracing life's journey as an adventure we are better able to see each phase as an opportunity to learn something new and grow.
